The Lord God is incomparable to anyone or to anything. We see in this text that this incomparable God is savingly present with his people to rescue us, to guide us and to establish us. This very fact calls from us the highest and most glorious kind of song of praise. It is not enough to praise him but rather we are to do so in song. We also learn a great deal about the content of what our songs and hymns should contain in our praise of God from this passage.
